Since the early ages, mankind has been found with tools to help make their lives more simple and dynamic. Such approaches are relevant and found in the modern world of user interfaces and user experience, as UI and UX are ultimately tools to help better achieve a goal. Whether it is navigating to a new page or deplying a new process, a moajority of these interactions done by the common world are not possible with some form of user interface. While user interface is important, the goal should also be to not overcomplicate the purpose of the interface and to keep things as simple and clean as possible. While that does not necessarily mean one should be overly minimalistic, it means one should be able to identify and ensure that the users are able to effectively navigate their tasks with ease.

While many great designs and styles are out there, the question resides in how those designs or styles apply to what you are working on. Just because something seems to work for one group does not mean it will work for your purpose. As such, you should use the right tools for the right job, to overly complicate something, or barely address something is not the answer nor an appropriate style if you want users to feel comfortable while navigating your mobile applications. Therefore, it is important you understand what you want to achieve and how to achieve it with respect to the user and the tools to make it happen.
